Silvio Berlusconi, head of italian government, resigned as chairman of the football club AC Milan.

“Accepting the role as chairman of the Council of Ministers should I leave the position occupied at AC Milan and with deep regret I resign from my position as chairman of the team,” said Berlusconi.
