Joan Laporta has refused to resign from his post as president of FC Barcelona, despite the disavowal inflicted by the “socios” in a vote of censure against its management. Eight officers decide rendrent their mandate.
It is a major crisis facing FC Barcelona. The absence of title won the past two years, the failure of the game offered by the team and management, or rather the non-management, as Barcelona stars Ronaldinho, causing a clash at the summit of Barça. Initially, two socios file a motion of censure against Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona. Against all odds, it meets an important echo and destabilizes the Catalan direction. Sunday, a clear majority of 60.6% of socios club blaugrana voted against Laporta (only 37.75% in its favour), touching the 66.6% required by the statutes of the club to force the leadership to resign.

While socios are against him now, that several leaders openly criticize the club, Laporta has refused to make her apron. To stem the crisis, Laporta, first elected in 2003, put his post on Thursday at the next general meeting of socios. It could intervene in September.
