The striker of Bayern Munich, Lukas Podolski, admitted in the press Sunday that he was interested in a transfer to Cologne next summer, adding that other German clubs were on the ranks and that no had no intention of leaving the Bundesliga. “While the sports in Cologne and I agree if the club is in a position to formalize such a transfer, I can absolutely imagine returning to Cologne,” said Podolski in the Sunday edition of Bild newspaper. “But I also know that there are other clubs interested which I also like much,” warned the international quartered on the substitutes’ bench at Bayern where Jürgen Klinsmann prefers Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose.
Podolski has refused to mention names of other German clubs interested, but Hamburg and Dortmund would be in the ranks.
