Even if the transfer deadline has passed, the manager of Sunderland, Steve Bruce, hopes that Manchester City’s striker, Benjani Mwaruwari will join his team.

The new Liverpool striker, Robbie Keane expressed Tuesday at a press conference, his immense joy of having joined the club of the Mersey which he has always been a great supporter and thus achieve his childhood dream.

Brazilian striker Robinho wants to stay at Real Madrid when he is given starting in the framework of a possible transfer of the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United, said Sunday the Spanish media.
“I hope this year stay at Real. I do not want to be part of the operation to sign Ronaldo,” said the sports daily AS Robinho, returned Saturday from Brazil to resume training with the club merengue.
According to Spanish media, Robinho is particularly coveted by the English club Chelsea and Real hopes to sell at prices approaching the 40 million euros to finance a possible purchase of Ronaldo to the tune of 85 million.

Stade Rennais and Udinese have reached agreement on the transfer of Ghanaian international striker Asamoah Gyan (22 years). After passing the traditional medical visit, he signed a contract today to 4 years for the club breton.
Having joined Udinese in 2003, Asamoah Gyan is on loan at Modena FC, a club from Serie B, to gain experience. He registered 15 goals during his 52 outings Italian second division. Author benefits noticed during the World Cup 2006, he returned to Udinese at the beginning of the 2006/2007 season. Gyan manages to score ten goals in 31 appearances during the last two years of Serie A. International Ghana, Asamoah Gyan total of 14 achievements in 27 appearances in the jersey of the Black Stars.

The attacker from Valladolid, Joseba Llorente, has signed for four seasons at Villarreal, announced Monday vice-champion club of Spain. The club did not specify the amount of the transfer.
Aged at 28 years and former Real Sociedad player, at Valladolid Llorente played since 2005. He registered 17 goals last season. Villarreal has already recruited two seasons for the environment of Brazilian defender Edmilson Jose, end of contract with FC Barcelona.
