Francois StercheleSaturday, Jan Breydel stadium in Bruges, former mates of Francois Sterchele (the striker died Wednesday night at 26 years, in a terrible accident) have taken goodbye from their friend. Wearing all the shirts number 23, the number of Sterchele from FC Bruges in the 2007-2008 season, the players were close to the centre ground, around the portrait of Francois, blubbering. In the galleries, thousands of fans of the flamande team sang “You’ll never walk alone”. For Sterchele, supporters have written on a pancarta: “He was born a star, who now shines the blue-black sky.” Watch the appealing film!
