The former Portuguese international Armando Teixeira, known as “Petit”, changing the Benfica Lisbon since 2002, must sign a contract with Cologne (1st league Germany), reported Tuesday the Portuguese press.

According to the sports press, the player should terminate its contract with the Lisbon club Tuesday and sign a contract with Cologne two years with one year option.

The Portuguese midfielder Armando Petit, 31 years, with 57 selections, announced he was taking his international retirement after Euro 2008.
