I’ll start with the scottish side, Glasgow Rangers. They started there european campaign in the Champions League in the groups, finishing 3th, with Barcelona, Lyon and Stuttgart also in the Group E. After the six matches, they reached the 3rd place and qualified for the Round of 32 in the UEFA Cup.

And now let see the russians road to the final. They began their campaign in the Second qualifying round against Zlate Moravce, by the end of the two legs, Zenit won with 5-0 on aggregate.

In the next round they bumped into belgium side, Standard Liege, beating them in the first leg with 3-0, and holding out for a draw, 1-1, in Liege.
